x1050 no worky on 3007fpw (30" monitor) ?

i sent my 7800gt for an rma and i picked up an ati x1050 from BB to tide me over but the dell 3007fpw monitor remain as black as skeletor's soul and i toot a lot since i installed it (though i also ate chili so it may be unrelated).

What happen? Thanks.

I reseated card to no avail. My motherboard says long beep two short beeps (dfi lanparty ut nf4). Whatsit mean? Hd does seem to be doing stuff afterwards so i assume booting takes place.

1 long beep with 2 short beeps is a video problem.

Might have a bad card Danielsan.

The 30" dell monitor requires a dual-link DVI video card. I don't believe the x1050 is dual-link DVI. You'll need to get something better that supports it or you won't be getting any video at all!

Does the screen have a D-SUB input? You could get by in a pinch with that. That is, if your PC isn't the culprit, beeping on you like that.
