x-Meridian 7.1 replacement

Have an azuntech meridian 7.1 that won't play nice with Windows 7. Any ideas on a replacement card? Analog 5.1 out and good recording of old vinyl are my priorities.


edit: ok I admit to watching movies also.

I'm with Apex...I thought we were dealing with a whole different league of hardware when I clicked on the thread. :p

works fine here. you know it doesn't sound much better than the onboard audio on my asus mobo. lol. i run all digital and don't care about analog.

I just found 7,12.8.177 by googling cmedia and so far so good. Maybe I solved my problem! Will have to play around some.

lulz, always try to fix driver first.


Also, I am another sucker that thought you are replacing Miridian 7.1.

Yep I should have added the x, so just did.

The drivers don't adjust delay to speakers and what not, but do what I need.
