a co worker had this, $20 from ebay. good quality, preaty cool little desk decoration. not as cool as the magneto helmet that they sell tho.

it's made out of some pretty heavy metal. Feels like quality stuff. Feel bad for those (if there were any) that paid list price for it.
 
Its a little known fact that this item was originally designed by Ronco (aka Ron Popeil) as a cooking tool. Mine worked great for about a week....marinated some steaks and used it to core apples. Shoddy construction though.....rusted in the dishwasher.

the last time this was posted, i bought wolverine's claw letter opener (way smaller than expected) and two magneto helmets (w/c i converted to lamp shades. just drill in 2 blue LEDs inside the tube).
i'll definitely get this one if it wasn't plastic!
 
I wonder if they'll have this at their B&M store. If so, I'd buy it from my local KB tonight. ...Maybe the Magneto helmet, too. 🙂
