There are a few boxsets on Amazon; however, to the best of my knowlege, most EPs have not been released. I tried looking last year and couldn't find most episodes through legal channels.

Nope, would have to use illegal means to get most of them.

Is it technically illegal then? If there's no other way to obtain them?

I just watched two episodes on youtube. They sucked. Justice League, the mid 90's batman, and the last superman were much better.

He could be in movie 4 or 5, if they introduce Cannonball in movie 4. When Cable was first introduced he was planned to be Cannonball returned from the future; if you find some of his original appearances, he's got no telepathy or any references to it and severely limited telekinesis.

It wouldn't be the Cable everybody's used to, but technically they could do it.

Batman the Animated Series rocked. I got the whole set on DVD.

Justice League was good too. Too bad this season was it. Damn you DC getting all greedy.

Superman was good too but then end up combining him into Justice League which isn't bad.

I liked the Xmen too. It ended awkwardly. But back then in the 90s, we still ahd saturday morning cartoons that attracted viewers of all ages. Now my nieces and nephew watch some crap I can't even sit to watch with exception to Sonic since I liked the 90s version.

Just watch the whole set of x-men comics that was around in the 1990s on Fox. You could probably find most of the episodes on the internet, it was x-men tas and there were 5 seasons of it. The story follows much closer to the comics as far as I know.

If you liked the movies you'll be blown away by the cartoons. Much, much better.

A good idea is to forget most of the relationships between characters that you've gotten from the movies, as they really changed some of them.

I just remember the series from the mid 90s. Any of the ones with Juggernaut, Phoenix, Apocalypse, Magneto, and Mr. Sinister are good. There's a few others such as Omega Red, and ones with Sabretooth (who you'll find to be a much cooler character than in the movies).

yeah ive read that the film characters are quite abit different, and curiously not as powerful as they are in the comics

nearly all of them are far more powerful than they let on in the movies, specially storm....who i read can control the weather over the whole planet and even the cosmic weather (solar flares etc) very awesome stuff.

i wanna see what the scarlet witch can do.....!

Because comics/cartoons are oriented towards kids whose imaginations are wired very differently. If you really think about it, most all the X-Men and other mutants have special powers, yes, but that doesn't mean they're invulnerable - save the few whose powers allow them to be such as Wolverine and Juggernaut. Half the mutants should be dead in every cartoon episode the way they carry on attacking each other, but they all have the cartoon invulnerability where it?s almost always a bend but never break scenario ? characters get knocked out, never killed.

I really enjoyed the movies because they really took a more mature approach and even tried to somewhat realistically portray their powers, and I also enjoyed the fact that they showed the characters using a LOT of restraint because many of them were so powerful.

There are only a few disappointing aspects, such as Rogue?s abilities. She was important for the first movie but only in a lame fashion. I really enjoyed her character in the comics/cartoon because it portrayed an aspect of her powers that isn?t even confirmed in the movies ? the ability to permanently absorb another person/mutant?s abilities. They do hint that she can kill with her absorbing power should she hang on, but nothing of permanently stealing powers. I could deal with them adding in the ability of flight, because that?s a power that isn?t easy to explain without wings (ala Angel), but they could have had her absorb super strength or even some other interesting powers, however maybe the chose not to based on the actress that was originally chosen, she doesn?t seem very fit for a physical role.

But seriously though, as ?all powerful? as Phoenix was in the Last Stand, she was killed rather easily, as she still had fragile organs and bones unlike Wolverine, or Juggernaut, or Colossus. That?s what I?m talking about, in the cartoon Phoenix was some sort of space god and there was a whole bunch of silliness with alien races and what not. Really fun when I was a kid, enjoyable now if I don?t let the technicalities get to me, but the movies turned out to be pretty fantastic even if they can?t trump my child hood memories (of which nothing ever can beat the ?good ol? days?)
