I just bought a new case and motherboard and the makers of the case do not give any papers, instructions or anything with the case. I have a new mobo. It is an Intel D865PERLK motherboard and a new CPU Pentium 4 three gig. I am worried about frying this board and or CPU. The makers of this case have a manual on line that says nothing about the wires or connecting them.
These wires are two sets of green and white wires (light gauge like the led wires). So, there are four wires. Each set of two wires (green and white) have a plug on the end. They have connected these two pair of wires to another plug. Hope this is clear. The plug these four wires join is one like you plug into your hard drive or floppy. They have combined the two greens and two whites so they now go into just the red and black pins of the new larger plug and this larger plug seems like it is supposed to be connected to the power supply.
Sorry this is so long.
4 wires (2green and 2white) combined and connected to the larger plug and connected to the red and black wires of that plug.
I have no clue what these wires are for. I don't want to remove the motherboard and take the case apart to see where these white and green wires go. Are they a power switch, are they lights (this case is full of lights). Has anyone had any experience with this case? Anyone know what all the cables are for? I could really use the help.
There is one other set of wires coming from the power supply. I don't know what this is for either and there is no plug on my mobo for it. It has a straight thin plug on the end. There are six wires in line and colored as follows:
black, black, black, orange, orange, red
Its a Turbolink model: LC-A350ATX power supply 350 watt
Thanks for any help in identifying and connecting these wires.
FYI...this is an extremely nice case for the money but the makers do not give any papers, warranty cards or anyting in the box with it. No instructions, nothing whatsover. You just have to know or find someone to help or you are fried.
