The terrific deals from the Canadian retailers are gone now (exchange rate difference is not very different currently), so pre-order prices for this set have not been great. However, Best Buy seems to be stepping up to help. They have the set on sale currently for $79.99 with free shipping. I have no clue if this will be the B&M price on Nov. 4th or when this sale ends, so the ultra-hardcore fans (the only ones who will buy this set) may want to pre-order this ASAP.

I ordered 7 & 8 @ $80 each from best buy...
Use www.dvdpricesearch.com for other good deals.. They r usually $80+ form Canadien DVD web shops and usually $100+ from US stores like best buy, buy.com, amazon, etc...

Thanks for the post. My seasons 1-7 all came from Canada, but this is just as cheap as ordering from Canada. I should also not have to wait 2 weeks to get it.

Mulder's still there for 7, partially there for 8, and gone in 9.

Sadly, the Best Buy deal was pulled this morning. If you did not get in on it, you can try Walmart.com instead who have the set listed at $79.98 (but the $2.98 shipping cost offsets the penny saved). Season 7 is listed for the same price as well.
