xfi xtreme audio does not have EAX at all.
xfi xtreme music does have EAX 5.0

This used to be the basic X-Fi until recently.

Then, Creative introduced these two:

They are not all the same obviously. Make sure you read up on them and know what you are getting.

From reading the pages that Navid linked from Creative's site, it appears that the X-Fi Audio model definitely doesn't support EAX, as there's no mention, at all, of any version of EAX.

sorry for the late reply, but creative website does not claim to have EAX 5.0 effects for the xtreme audio card. It is a great deal, i was going to jump on it too, untill i decided to do a little more research. thread link below.
