X-Fi + Stuttering...

Any suggestions?

I get stuttering with the X-Fi if I'm listening to music well doing pretty much anything else that even remotely gets HD activity.
 
That kinda sucks for being the uber soundcard it sounds like it is.

Besides the stuttering (which I have no clue about sorry!), how is game performance?
 
Gaming is pretty good, to me it's better then my Audigy 2 ZS in my other rig... But I can't stand the stuttering that I'm getting so I'm probably going to return it and just go back to onboard sound with this rig.
 
I have had no issue with the xtreme music either, granted I specifically went for the minimal install. With just the drivers by themselves on there and no general creative garbage flooding the taskbar I haven't had a single hiccup. Did those with the problem install more extensive driver packages?
