I've used many Creative cards over the years, and had some problems with most of them, but not recently. I've had zero problems in both 32 and 64 bit Vista, with two different X-Fi Extreme Music cards (one is the HP OEM card). Audigy 4 has also been problem-free, even with Vista 64. Clean driver installs are as important as with any other device.

For what it's worth, I haven't had any trouble with my Audigy 2zs and Win7 x64. Just using the normal drivers too.

I recently purchased an x-fi titanium fatal1ty to tide me over while my xonar d2x is being repaired by asus. I can tell you right away that games and music sound worlds better on the xonar than they do on the x-fi. And the tritton ax pro dolby digital headseat does present surround with enough separation that you can distinguish locations.
