I've had problems forever it seems with settings just randomly defaulting or changing to other random levels, and now My subwoofer is not being sent any signal unless I use 2.1 which I expect means that my power amp is doing the split. I've diagnosed connections and other components thoroughly, and even when I use "test" feature that says "front left" etc. the subwoofer works fine.
The problem is when I play games or play music with everything in console and in game set to 7.1 or 5.1. I don't get any subwoofer signal. Since I've just recently lost several components due to PSU failure, could this be caused by a voltage spike or is it probably a driver/registry problem (which I'm hoping).
