technology at it's best, I liked the old Audigy interface, where you got to chose everything you wanted without being limited to the garbage gaming mode or the entertainment mode

like you can't chose the EAX sound enhancement profiles from game audio mode

I mean, the card has an engine powerful enough to practically run just about anything as far as listening goes to.

I never liked the Audigy 2 ZS interface when I used it

I don't know the old audigy interface, but the sound card I have now has that X-Fi stuff and I've been able to easily configure everything just as I wished. So I give it a thumbs up.
