Shipping Lanes...

SCREW YOU!

A total of 8 levels of maps to navigate with every single friggin one of them crammed full of little staterooms. What the hell were they thinking?

Screw 'em. Those people bought the tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I say, let the cruise ships sink for all I care.

I <3 XCOM..but TFTD pissed me off in general.

Yeah, I'm getting there too. Hell, the worst is that it's the same damn game as X-COM: UFO Defense but buggier and less fun. I was having a hard time figuring out how the research tree went for the advanced armor when I looked it up and found out about the armor research tree bug.

*Sigh* I think I'm just going to forget about everything that came after the first one and go back to slaughtering Snakemen.

I hated the under water grenades, that was just not right. Go back to the original, its still fun after all this time.

I enjoyed TFTD but I guess I was just crazy about XCOM in general. Of course the first one is still the best!

I like using the melee swords in TFTD - would have a squad of guys who had tons of TU's and would run practically across the whole map in one turn to skewer a lobster man and throw him on the barbie for lunch.

The only reason I prefer TFTD over the original is because you can open doors without rushing in. I can't play without opening doors now :(

There was a way to open doors in the original without going through... but you have to wait until you have flying suits and blaster launchers... :)

Yeah, I always loved when I opened UFO with first shot and second shot wiped out everyone inside.

IMO X-COM Apocalypse was also very good - I liked options for both turn based and realtime fight.
