No soldering, just match color to color, twist, tape, and repeat. Then just tape the whole thing up when your done.

One nice thing you'll most likely see is that games programmed for the XBOX 360 that end up on the PC (like R6V) will have support for the XBOX 360 controller programmed in. Although, oddly enough, Ubisoft didn't include 360 controller support in R6V until 1.01. But I think we'll all agree that R6V PC was waaaaaay too rushed :/.
