X-530's and Neo2 Platinum help

The Neo2 has the 7.1 Channel Realtek audio chip and I have just purchased the Logitech X-530 speakers. I hooked everything up according to both manuals (mb and speaker) and yet I am only getting sound through the front two speakers and the subwoofer, but nothing is coming through the center or rear speakers. Anyone who has this setup and has it working able to tell me how you have it working and anyone who doesn't, any ideas? I really would like to avoid buying a sound card if I can help it.

Thanks in advance.

I have this exact combo, and I had the same problem at first. Go to MSI and download the latest chipset driver package. This should fix your problem as well as make both onboard LAN connections work.
If you have already done this or it doesn't work, get the latest realtek AC97 drivers. I can't remember if I did this or not so that may be required, but I think the chipset drivers will work.
BTW, what BIOS rev are you using?

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what BIOS I am using right now, but I will check it when I get home from work and reply back.

Alright, installed the latest drivers for both the AC97 and the chipset and the speakers are still doing the same thing. Is something defective here?

Oh, and my BIOS is AwardBIOS v6.00PG

Alright, I am obviously not an audiophile for I seem to be missing something. I just plugged the speakers into my Dell which has an old 5.1 SB Live card in it and the same thing happens. After some fiddling around I found that I am only getting sound through the green audio connector, and none of the others. I confirmed this by using a set of headphones on each jack...which leads me to believe that I am missing a setting of some sort. How do I get the other connectors to work? Thanks in advance.

No clue man...I would try technical help boards instead of here. Alot of those guys use surround sound systems.
