I hope they'll honor the (hopefully not too many people abusing and ordering 1000s of them) few orders that went through before they removed the page.
 
I hope so too. I ordered one earlier today and it seemed to go through fine. I got the confirmation email and everything. I guess we will have to wait and see.
 
I don't think it had anything to do with abusing the deal. They occasionally do that deal then take it down. It is promotion , not a typo. Just wait. These guys are pretty good about catching any kind of abuse, like duplicate coupons and so on, and pretty bad to argue afterwards, once you get charged full price. The only remedy then is to return the shipment at your expense.

They're also offering a free $20 gift certificate, and a free hawkeye motion sensor for each item ordered. Order two lamp modules for 12.99 ea., use the $20 gc, and get free shipping. The salesperson said the free firecracker kit was an 'invalid' web page and there is no deal on the firecracker kit. You have to call in to get the free gc deal. I also put in an order for the free firecracker kit through the web page, and the confirmation changed the quantity to 1 (from 2, I'm not that greedy).

I put a quantity of 2.. was fine until the final page, it only showed the quantity as being 1.

No big deal, I have one of these kits from 2 years ago but lost the serial connector to my PC.. doh.
 
Just got my $5.90 Firecracker kit. It came with the same Palmpad Remote as last time, not the keychain one like the page advertised.

I just got mine today. I ordered two of them (still $5.90). But they only shipped me one. I guess this deal only applies to one.

Oh yeah, they shipped the Palmpad one to me too.
