I just ordered another Firecracker kit for $5.90. Let's see if they actually ship it!

My Firecracker kit arrived today via priority mail. Its a boxed "kit" not some bits put in a box, mine has the larger remote, the palm something. The instruction sheet shows the software is a download from the X10 site, but I haven't played with that side of it yet. It took me about 5 minutes to get a light turning on and off and dimming. Looks like my weird condo will have some issues on where the transceiver needs to get plugged in, as the first choice failed to control the remote module. Looks like fun I hope I don't get carried away.

My kit arrived today. The only reason I ordered the silly thing was for the keychain remote. I called and told the CSR that it was supposed to come with the SlimFire remote (since that's what was detailed on the webpage), but he said not with the free kit. Oh well.

Woohoo got mine! BTW its not a firecracker, its so that you can turn on and off stuff using a remote.
