At my store we sell porn movies, yesterday an elderly gentleman bought one called Bi-Curious. He wasn't in the section for more than maybe 1 minute. The cover showed 2 females and 1 dude, they were sharing his private part. As I dug in the binder to find the actual movie I looked at the back. Had about a dozen pics and at least half of them showed 2 men with a female. This time the lady and the dude were sharing the other mans private.

I'm not sure if he looked at the back or not, part of me thought it would be nice to point that out. But I didn't want to make it awkward if he knew and got it for that reason. But I also didn't want him to get home and pop it in expecting to see 2 chicks rocking 1 dude and feel awkward when he see's the opposite.

How to handle this situation? I ask because it happens at least once every few weeks in here. A few of the buyers definitely come across as gay, but many don't at all.

As long as this guy doesn't come in who cares:

I wouldn't say anything. Not getting what you expect is part of the porn experience. Besides, any assumption you make about a person has a high chance of being wrong when it comes to porn taste.

I am still trying to figure out who still buys porn these days?

Lots of people, I sell about 20 dvd's a week and maybe 3 Blu-Ray. We have $14.99 Blu-Ray's that have 24 hours of porn on 1 disc. That's a lot of damn fapping.

I suspect it's a mixture of people with shitty internet, no computer and ones who don't want to fap to a tiny computer monitor. A lot of the buyers live at the retirement apartments up the street so they're old and can't see well and aren't good with technology.

I think I'd ring it up first, take the cash, then put it in a bag. Normally, for a single item, I'd ask if they want a bag. No point in wasting resources for a single item, but most people don't want to showoff their new porn purchase, so assuming a bag is reasonable.

How old would you estimate your oldest customer to have been?

90 or close to it, he can hardly see, often times he'll give me way more money than his total thinking it's the right amount. He can hold the money an inch from his glasses and still give me the wrong amount, he does this every singlr time. He bought a dvd a few weeks ago. There was a female on the cover, on the back it was a full body pic of her and she had a penis. I know he couldn't have seen it, and I knew it wasn't what he wanted. But I thought since he's legally blind he'd enjoy it and be none the wiser. I doubt at that age he could fap anyways. I did consider telling him though.

you work in a porn shop and use the word private to describe a penis?

Not a porn shop, a market that sells mostly liquor, but there's a small porn section in the corner.

I would loudly inquire 'YOU KNOW THERE'S SOME QUEER SHIT UP IN THIS HERE PORNO MOVIE, RIGHT? YOU DON'T MIND WATCHING A MAN SUCK A DICK, DO YOU?'

It's rather presumptuous to presume the guy doesn't like the cock. If he came to the counter to get a gay porn video, you wouldn't chastize him and point to the straight porn section.

Give him the correct video and say happy wanking.

I wouldn't say anything unless he asks you a question. It could just be Betty White in costume scoping you out for a taping of "Off their Rockers".

Or it could be this guy. I hear he's a master of disguys:

Maybe the old geezer is genuinely bi-curious? Nothing wrong with that.

I totally agree, but the cover and the back make it look like 2 totally different movies. The cover showed 2 hot young blonds sharing a penis. Porno movies you HAVE to look at the back, even then you can still be duped. The thing about this movie is based off the cover I wouldn't see any gay man picking it up. Porn employs so much trickery, it's no accident the cover doesn't show a man and a woman both scarfing on the same cock.
