I would ask him why he just doesn't cut 10% from every government agency's budget, and if the agency can't make it work on 90%, then replace the people running it with people who can.

If you can ask Obama one question, what would it be?

I think I will ask him how would he stem the local government corruption, people at a city and town level that think they deserve more than a state governor or even president in salary and are actually drawing such salary.

Probably no point in asking this question to someone from Illinois. Politicians there see government corruption as an career choice, not as a problem.

I would ask about aliens. Not illegal ones, but from outerspace. I'd throw a kennedy question or two in there too.

I wouldn't waste my time asking him anything. for politics, all you'd get is misdirection and lies in return, and I don't care what he thinks about anything else.

Yeah, but if selected at least I'll get some youtube views, and a warm fuzzy something.

I'm afraid that any question I might have for him would earn me a visit from some guys in black suburbans.

I would ask him nothing. Instead I would inform him that he could have done far more for the world without ever getting into politics, and that being a world leader is more a restraint than a freedom to make things happen.

I'd ask him why he wants us listen to a State Of The Union address that is over an hour long, and is filled with political promises that have no chance of passing.

Of course, I could have asked Bush and Clinton the same question while they were in office. So much for "change"...
