I couldn't imagine watching the stuff downloaded from the net high enough quality to watch on a 50" plasma tv... unless they did something neat like how I can download hour long shows in HDTV and have them look great...

That rich guy, wahtever his name is, who owns the Dallas Mavericks is already doing that, but with satelite. One movie, premiered, in HDTV, mind you, at the same time as in theaters:D

Who else is making download-oriented ones?

I meant to get in on netflix a while back, but never got around to it, download-oriented means I cannot pretend to be too lazy :)

This is probably worth the fee for the first month to catch up on movies you missed. I see 5 or 6 that I'd like to pay next to nothing for. After that, I really don't see enough to sustain it. The movie choices really aren't that great and the PPV options suck; a little over 50 movies that have been on DVD for quite a while.

I opened a free account to skim their movies,

they dont have that many titles, only about 1000, compared to netflix touting 55,000!

I am searching for random movies to compare the two, and Vongo's choices are severely lacking.

Pay Per Views are $3.99 and they have about 55 of them. Cool perk though, whnever you click on a movie, it shows its trailer, so ive just been watching trailers for a while
