I've ordered lots of stuff from Newegg - no problems. Recommend them wholeheartedly. Especially FREE super saver shipping!

I just ordered a CPU and RAM from googlegear - FAST, CHEAP ($0.50!!!) shipping and the lowest price around made that a no-brainer. No complaints at all.

I ordered a CPU and motherboard from Mwave. Slower, more expensive shipping, but the overall price was still competitive enough to give them the edge. As it happens, I've had to RMA both just recently. The process isn't complete, but so far so good. They haven't given me any problems thus far... They are still on my good side and I would recommend them.

I recently ordered a cable modem from compuplus. Arrived fast and in fine condition. Shipping was expensive, but the overall price was still very cheap.

Based on my personal experience and the comments of others, it seems that all these guys are pretty good. Just be sure you understand the return policies and then look for the lowest price 🙂

Newegg is tops, but mwave and compuplus both have come through in the clutch for me. My roomate ordered from googlegear and said it was good. Compuplus has great prices, but make up for it with excessively high shipping costs (lowest is 14.95 for 2day shipping!!?)... But the product was def in perfect shape and arrived FAST. You get what you pay for I guess.

I have ordered from both googlegear and Newegg. Googlegear shipping was a little slow compare to newegg's and thus I really only shop at newegg now. Plus newegg's custom service is great. Mwave is another great store but I have never ordered anything from there.

Amused, considering Tiger Direct has a Reseller Rating (lifetime) of 4.10 I think I could find a lot of other vendors more worthy of my $$.

You have me confused with someone else. I wouldn't touch TD with a 100 foot pole. 😛

newegg is best. same day shipping, usually gets to me in two days. good rma policy. i think i have bought ~$2500 of stuff in the past year there... competitive prices with the assurance you won't have to scream and yell to get what you want = priceless.

googlegear has great ddr prices and cheap two day shipping.. no complaints.

mwave is good.

dell can be slow, but provides deals that are untouchable anywhere with the right combo of coupons.

all my other stuff is bought in conjunction with rebates and coupons from staples, om, and od...

dew.

I use these vendors according to highest preference:
-Newegg
-Mwave
-Googlegear

Newegg has the best mix of price, shipping(speed and price-wise) and customer service. Their online RMA is a breeze. Because I'm also in CA, as long as I order it before 2PM I always get the package the very next day.

Mwave is always reliable and they stock harder to find items.

Googlegear has the best prices in CPU's but it only takes Newegg a few days to match up with them. FEDEX 2nd day for 50 cents is also a big plus.

You should also check out Nutrend.
I found them yesterday when I was looking for an AXP 2400+ and saw a link to them at amdforums. I think they must be affiliated with newegg, especially by the looks of their site. Ordered my chip last night, and it was shipped today. They get high marks at resellerratings too.

Keep in mind, that Newegg = Nutrend = ABSPC. They are all the same company. Newegg usually has the greater selection, and thier prices are ALWAYS one dollar cheaper per part than the other two companies. The other two build systems, though, and Newegg doesn't-this explains why they have the 2400+ and Newegg doesn't yet, because it seems that AMD is only selling to actual system builders, not parts-only shops. So Nutrend and ABSPC got an alotment, and Newegg didn't.

Oh, and NEWEGG ROCKs!!!!

Put another vote for Newegg. Only issue I have with them is their shipping calculations. Hypothetical, but based on actual experience:
$20 CD-ROM plus $5 shipping, $25
Add tube of Arctic Silver3
$5 ASIII plus another $5 shipping, total $35.
Just by adding a small tube of ASIII, the shipping is bumped up by $5! Something weird about that...but that said, they do offer free Fedex saver shipping on quite a few items.

Also check out SVC for anything cooling related; they are improving their inventory a few new product lines too, like case lighting, and motherboards. Bestbyte is good too.

Compuplus and Googlegear - never ordered from them yet.😱

All 3 are good solid sellers. Newegg is my main shop. I've had some trouble with Mwave, but that may just be me. Dell however has some killer deals from time to time!
