www.gohip.com has taken control of my browser!!!!

everytime I start IE, the deault home page its loads up, is some gohip.com page
(...which then loads up a REALLY annoying seach bar on the bottom of my Desktop.



How do i get rid of this?

Even when I change my defualt homepage in IE, when I restart the computer, it goes back to the same stupid thing.

I cant stand it!!!

also, isnt this illegal for a company to do?

I had to remove it for a friend; the stuff you're looking for is in the registry. There's also some DLL you should delete. I can't remember what the thing is called, but if you search for GoHip I think you'll find it.

Oh, and I basically dont know anything about editing my registry, so if somebody could guide me through it, I would really appreciate it.

ok, I went to their site, and there is a program that removes it for you.

Man, if it wasnt there, their "Customer Service" would of heard it from me.

How unethical is gohip.com for doing something like that?
