Well sorry dude, and no offense, but considering that your English skills are apparently far from perfect, it doesn't seem like your venture is very serious. If you really wanted to do this(and may I remind you, I don't speak for Anand), you'd probably need a good deal of cash to buy the rights to make the site, and be able to provide a technologically literate translator to do the work; neither of which you seem to have.

I got a license to translate Anandtech to Klingon. It cost me $150k (American dollars). I'd think Italian would be quite a bit more. I think there's a separate group working to translate AT in Elvish.

I think you're still missing the point; it doesn't matter if you can speak French, Italian, English, or Klingon even, but what matters is that you can do so with the profeciency of someone who has a degree in the language. You're going to have a very difficult time securing any sort of deal if you can't prove that your Italian language articles will be just as good as the original English articles.

there is a mistake, now i'm writing, but i'm not the only one. Some of us will translate our articles. I' have no reason and a have no interest to translate into english.
I'm trying to get contact with the anandtech staff, that's all.
Generally i make hardware reviews, not translations.

I think you would also have to present the ability to bring in advertising revenue to Anandtech in order for there to be an italian sister site.

Sure I've heard of it. I've also now heard of a gullible Italian guy sending an email off to notachanceinhell@anandtech.com

Buon giorno e benvenuto. :)

Please contact our webmaster, Anand Lal Shimpi about your proposal. anand.shimpi@anandtech.com

I do not know if he is open to your proposal, but it would be up to him.

To read our forums in Italian, you can use the Bable Fish. Enter the forum url, choose to translate from English to Italian, and it will translate the entire page. It will also translate blocks of text. The translation will be rough, but it is still useful. You can try it on this page.

Thanks for your interest in our forums. :)

Such services as Babelfish provide a mediocre translation at best!

You need to write yourself a business plan: Outline goals, costs, and describe how your site will benefit Anand Lal Shimpi.

What is your idea? To make your own tech site with your own tech reviews, using Anandtech.IT as the domain, OR do you want to translate everything on anandtech.com into Italian and use it on Anandtech.IT? There is a big difference.
