What kind of books? I remember getting books at book sales in elemetary school. There was a picture book I vaguely remember getting. It had a lot of pictures and stats.

All of the rest of the info I get now is from the net. I rarely pick up magazines anymore.

hmm...i didn't know he supposedly fought Debiase. Interesting... But you are correct that there was never a match and Patterson was the first Intercontinental champ.

I looked and couldn't find one place that mentions who supposedly fought in the tournament for the belt. Everywhere I go there is just a blank or it says that he won a tourmanent with no mention of the participants.
