I don't know if I really want him back. All his matches seem so phony. He is way to old to be able to compete. It's like he moves in slow motion.

I actually think that they had some technical issues. Noticed that the commentators stopped talking?

Yes, that's it.

They stopped talking because it was one of the biggest and loudest pops for anyone, even bigger than the pops that SCSA and Rock used to get (and it was well deserved in my opinion). They were letting the tv viewers get a feel for exactly how loud and crazy it was at that particular moment, for the biggest icon in wrestling.

Considering the show is taped on Tuesdays, those 'technical issues', if there were any, easily would have been fixed by doing voice-overs in their Stamford headquarters.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the return of The Rattlesnake, Stone Cold.

When is his return expected?

Supposedly at the No Way Out ppv in three weeks. Interesting side note is, that ppv is being held in Montreal, where SCSA walked out on Vince a few years ago, now he's making his return there.

Forget that, I want the Rock back. He has only been back for like 2 months in the past 12. He was the main reason I watched the show. I always waited for Coach's interview with him because they were so funny.

as opposed to wwe wrestling in general......??

I'm glad he's back.

Wrestling is falling back into the void that it was in during the Diesel/Shawn Michaels era.

Things to do to improve WWE:

1. Get big names back in the ring: Steve Austin/Rock/Goldberg/Sting. Sting is a very longshot due to his religion.
2. Kill Matt Hardy
3. Make Undertaker go back to worshipping Urns. If Hogan gets that big of a pop, then the dead man would get one, too.
4. Make Brock Lesnar attend acting classes.
5. Wrestling's popularity surged during the era of factions such as Nation of Domination, Ministry of Darkness, The Corporation, etc. They need to look at making some new factions.

Can't argue with any of that. I especially agree with #3. Taker was the best when he was with Paul Bearer and coming out to the funeral march. He'll have to grow his hair for the next year though. Also, make Kane someone to be feared once again. Before, he could barely utter two words.....now he's almost not wearing a mask to cover his 'burned' face and he's talking more than 12 women at the hair salon.

As for #5, I think that's what they are trying to do with Triple H and Flair, trying to make a new version of the Four Horsemen, with Batista and that other schmuck (can't remember his name).

Personally, I don't get into TV Wrestling.

I do have Hogan's autograph on a napkin, as well as Mad Dog Vachon's - and a few others I don't reall atm. They're friends of a next door neighbor in a neighborhood I used to live in.

It's funny, that when they threw a party - you saw all these big guys show up and hang out but no really loud music, everyone was dressed like the average joe and quite normal, albiet a little on the muscular side 😉.

Mad Dog was pretty cool. Nice, soft spoken kind of guy.

That other guy is Randy Orton. He sucks.

Personally I would rather get DX back together. That's when I got into wrestling, and it was much more interesting back then. Of course, now Billy Gunn is injured, X-Pac's attitude killed his career, Road Dogg is probably still in rehab, and Shawn Micheals wouldn't want to do it because of his new-found religion. I even read an article where he said he felt uncomfortable doing the DX chop back when they teased the reunion because of his religious beliefs.

LOL I love #2! I can't stand him... another one I cant stand is Edge, Team "A", and those two white boys that think they are the new hit on the rap scene

i haven't watched wrestling in a long time now, BUT, is Ric Flair still around?? talk about a dinosaur, man he stayed around way longer than he should have.

DX was just an nWo ripoff. and x-pac is possibly the dumbest wrestler with the most fake looking finishing move ever. bronco buster? there wasn't a camera angle available that could make it look like x-pac even touched the guy while doing it.

Are you serious? Good for him if thats what he wants, but get out wrestling because you can't be the Shawn of old. He is not the "showstoppa" any more.

Yeah Micheals is all done. As far as X-Pac and Road Dogg, they are both on that new NWATNA show that's on every Wednesday on PPV. That's a pretty unwatchable show though, just to warn you. Raven just showed up there after being let go from the WWE last week. Paul Bearer is also there as his former gimmic, Percy Pringle. Scott Hall was there for a while, but haven't seen him lately. Jeff Jarrett is also there, since his daddy is pretty much running that show. The link is here, and for all you pervs, the TNA stands for Total Non-Stop Action.

The Rock sucks, fvck him

They're only bringing him back to wrestle McMahon at WM (I think) - not like Hogan is going to be headlining anything. I kinda wished they woulda done a Rocky vs Hogan style WM fight at NWO with Hogan and Brock since Brock put Hogan "out of action" so to speak. There's no one to feud with Brock at the moment...at least not from what I saw tonight (it's UT vs BS, Angle vs Benoit again)

The plan is to have Angle vs. Brock at Wrestlemania.

I know - we still have one more PPV until WM. From last night's SD it seemed apparent it would be Angle vs Benoit again at NWO - you can't have Brock and Angle feuding 2 months before WM. Brock has no one to fight except A-Train (laff) or possibly Hogan

Your right. I think the roster split really stinks. It precludes what could be some really good feuds and storylines. Smackdown has a weak roster and having the shows split it really limits the options. As you said there really isn't anyone else left for Angle to feud with.

I use to love wrestling, I went to WrestleMania XV, with Rock vs. Stone cold. That was a great match that had a lot of awesome backstory.

I think it was WM 16 that ruined WWF for me. It was some garbage 4-way title match that was one of the worst things I've ever seen. Haven't watched it since.

You say compete like they really fight...

have you watched any seasons of tough enough? what they do is some of the hardest competition ive ever seen

OMG you have to be kidding? Tell me the last time someone died at WWE training camp of heat exhaustion and get back to me.

Please tell me that was a joke.

Also they're on the Hick channel now, TNN (I don't care how much the try to change their image).

I don't even get TNN on my digital cable so I don't have the opportunity to not watch it.

I went to the Fan Axxess for that show. It was pretty cool. Couldn't go to the actual event though. That was a really good PPV. Motorhead rules.
