It's not on your property. It's on the road. Move on with your life.

It's not on the road but it is on land you are supposed to maintain so if it's in the way you can move it unless it's something owned by the city.

But the other responses are much better. :p

Hmm, over here the grass verge (between the footpath and the road) constitutes part of the road. The reason for this is so the road can be altered or widened if/when required.

Be mature about it...however amusing the early bird suggestion is. One option will make them hate you, the other...well, they might be nice.

QFT unless one of your relatives works that corner OP and the sign is blocking their presentation.

Usually anything ground on road side of a sidewalk is public domain. You are required to keep it maintained though so if the sign is a real eyesore and making you cry then probably just leave it until the end of the sale.

It does annoy me when they don't come back to remove their sign.
