Dogma was great and by far his best movie.

Clerks the animated series if great stuff, too.

I personally though J&SB Strike Back was pretty lame and the worst so far.

Also, in case anyone cares, 'Jersey Girl' got pushed back to next March or May. Trying to avoid the Gigli backlash and the Matrix sequel. I don't think JLo is in it all that much. He's also supposed to start shooting 'Fletch Won' in January.

Agreed there.

Well yea. "Want a chocolate pretzel?" makes no sense unless you've seen Mallrats. That seemed so completely random in the Strikes back movie. I'm sure some people were like "WTF?"

Yeah what the hell was that about!?

haha, the stink palm! by the way, jersey girl = march 19, 2004. animnated series wasnt that bad "you'se guys want some fireworks??" "(looks at new Quicker Stop) Hey that looks like a bong! (Dog walks by) Hey, that looks like a bong too!"

my favorites, in order:
1. Mallrats (Jay: "Fly Fat Ass Fly!")
2. Clerks (Dante: "Whats that supposed to mean?" Jay: "I dont know, she was senile and sh**, always pissin' herself...")
3. Dogma (Jay: "So, Bethany's part black?")
4. Chasing Amy (Silent Bob: "Bi**h, what you dont know about me, I can just about fit in the Grand Canyon")
5. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Jay: "Affleck, you the bomb in Phantoms. Yo!")

all the movies are enjoyable though IMO.

Watch Mallrats and you'll get the chocolate pretzel reference. There's a few in-jokes in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back that you won't get unless you've seen all of the Kevin Smith movies. "Some nights, I really miss dating a lesbian." 😀

I love all of the movies, but Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back are my favorites.

These characters work best when they play very minor roles, IMO.

I liked them best in Chasing Amy. hahaha that was a great movie.

"What's a Nubian? Bitch, you almost made me laugh!"

😀

It would Clerks for EVERYONE if you had all seen these movies in order.

Half the jokes in Strike Back are continuation of Clerks.

CLERKS

CLERKS

I saw them in order, and in the theater. Clerks was good, but I like Dogma, Mallrats and Chasing Amy better. I prefer Jason Lee. I think he makes those movies great. But, they are all good movies.

After seeing JSBSB I wondered how it would be received. Half the jokes are references to stuff from the other movies.

Holden: If the buzz is any indicator, that movie's gonna make some huge bank.
Jay: What buzz?
Holden: The Internet buzz.
Jay: What the f*ck is the Internet?!

I saw all of them in order and actually got into Clerks way back when it was released.

Holden: Yeah, I wasn't a big fan either... but Affleck was the bomb in "Phantoms".
Jay: Word, bitch, Phantoms like a mofo!
