WTH?!

Well, every time I try to restart or shutdown I get some crap about Shutting down a program that isn't responding. It's called HTML Package and I deleted every instance of it from the registry, and everything associated with it and it still comes up with ending program HTML Package. it's really annoying and it doesn't allow me to install any programns because for some reason it blocks/hogs all the disk usage. I really want to get rid of this BULLCRAP NOW!

What should I do?

what OS r u using? if u r using win98, go to run and type in msconfig.exe. then click on the startup tab and see if u can find an instance of this html program that is causing ur troubles. if u r using win2000, u will need to download msconfig. try that and if it dun work... check back in.

what happened was some of my friends decided they'd try fastdownloader and that installed a program called openme.exe that gave me popups of porn sites. I deleted the file and it asked fo it at startup. After searching the registry the explorer.exe file had openme.exe associated with it so after deleting the openme.exe part of the registry all is fine.
