WTH? When did the green [original] Skittles change from Lime to Green Apple?

I like both.
You are doing it wrong if the waffle is heavy and dense...they should be nice and fairly light for a waffle. At least when my wife makes them they are and I prefer homemade jam on them instead of syrup.

It doesn't make sense that someone would claim that waffles are heavy and dense when they're made out of LITERALLY THE SAME BATCH OF MATERIALS AND RATIOS OF SAID MATERIALS. Pancakes take up more volume and should be the same density so therefore logic dictates that pancakes are heavier and more bullshittier than waffles.

Hence the WTF expression I had when I started munching. With normal skittles, it doesn't matter what handful you get; you're gonna get a tasty mouthful.

The green apple just throws everything else off. It has no business with the other flavors.

only problem, I ate an uber sized bag which is like 5oz (minus the strawberry I hate them) while I was playing Saints Row IV, and my mouth was almost bleeding by the time I finished. It hurt to chew the last 1/8th of the bag. Which is sort of scary lol.

So, this thread inspired me to pick up some Skittles. I bought both regular and sour packages.

I gotta say, the green apple flavor is monumentally better than that crummy bland Lime flavor. It goes with the other flavors SO much better, especially in the sour package.

btw, the only way to make pancakes good (besides adding blueberries) is to fry them in oil so you get a crispy exterior, with texture.

The ones I'm talking about are Swedish.

Grandpa made them. Every time he made them they turned out perfect.
My mom has been able to duplicate his recipe, but nobody else in the world can do them as good, and grandpa is no longer around.

Only other place that I've had similar/good quality has been Al Johnsons in Door County, Wi.

At first I was going to take up arms against those claiming lime is superior, but after some levelheaded ones were able to make a sound case for lime fitting standard Skittles (and Sour Apple the uh, Sour Skittles). I don't really care though, as I tend to prefer sour stuff when I get fruity. :hmm: I remember eating tiny grapes right off the vine, they'd make Mr Slave pucker they were so awesomely sour.

While that is true, its much easier to dress up waffles as you don't have to work the good stuff into the batter. :hmm: Waffles have perfectly made little pockets that fit just right for the good stuff. :hmm:

Corn pancakes? Tha fuck? The only suitable corning of your carbs should be pop(corn), cornbread, corn chips, and HFCS. Cornflapjacks just sounds like what happens to transgendered people in Nebraska truckstops after the natives find out.

Red, then purple, then...actually like with most, the red and purple are the best and the others only exist to pad out and for the mutant fucks that like those flavors. Occasionally blue or green is ok but they're often substandard as well. If you want lemon then suck lemon drops and stop making companies waste space for the better flavors.

The only orange that is good is Reese's Pieces and that's obviously because its not orange flavored. Stick to orange juice or sherbert if you want orange.

Pancakes, like cheesecakes are clearly misnamed. Then again tasteless flour discs and tasty sourcream sludge probably aren't very marketable.
