I was out with a few coworkers on friday night. One of them brought her bf. We were all drinking and having a good time and so was the couple. Then later that night they somehow got into an argument. I was sitting right next to her but I did not see the initial swing he took that must of landed around her nose cause blood just started gushing. She kicked him away and was going to come back at her but I jumped in the way and stopped him. He went into the restroom but never came back so we gathered everyone up and left. It was about 5 mins before her nose stopped bleeding.

Somehow a few drops of blood flew and got on one of my favorite white shirt too.:| But atleast she's ok.

Update: Ok, I found out the reason. The BF got jealous over the fact that one of her guy friend showed up that night too. I don't understand how he would get jealous as this friend only talked to her for a minute or two and left to do their own things with the friends he came with.😕
 
that's bullshit

i probably would have tried to knock dude's teeth down his throat....hitting a female, especially for no good damn reason is one of the quickest ways to piss me off

umm... when i think of other people's blood getting on me i can't help thinking of HIV.

but beyond that... her bf needs to see the inside of a police car. at the very least i hope she stops seeing him.

The BF is the lowest form of pond scum. I can't believe you guys just let him walk away🙁
All I can say is if I was there somebody would have went to jail either me or him, maybe both.

First order of business is to make sure she is ok,

Next order of business would be to drag the @$$hole out of the bathroom and teach him the exact meaning of @$$WHIPPING. I am all for a fair fight, but when a coward hits a woman, all bets are off and everyone gets to play using what ever they want, except knives, guns, and broken beer bottles. Chair legs, bar stools, Large chunks of ice wrapped in a bar towel,.....You get the picture. No man, should EVER EVER strike a woman. It is one thing to playfully swat her arse, it is another thing to bloddy her nose out of anger.

I totally agree that there's no reason to hit a woman unless in self defense. We did not do anything because this was a sensitive issue. Being that I really know her only as a coworker I did not want to her to come back at me for punching her bf's face in. If she's smart enough to realize that she shouldn't be with him anymore then she might appreciate it if I kicked his a$$ but then again I can't be sure.
