A winged horse with a horn in its head? WTF???

It's just stupid. I know lots of women and most think Unicorns are awesome. I think they're meh.

Some of these women have big collections of them too. I just don't see the big deal in it.

Maybe I just don't get it. Maybe I am just getting cynical.

A winged horse with a single horn is not a unicorn. That's a Unicorn/Pegasus hybrid.

Unicorn: White horse-like creature with single spiralled horn, used to contain a very strong source of magic.

Pegasus: Horse with wings. Not necessarily affiliated with any kind of magic.

edit:
Women especially like unicorns because 1. women generally consider horses beautiful and 2. the horn represents a phallic symbol. ;)

I don't know what it is with women and unicorns. It seems to be a phallusy.

I like this answer. It's probably a physical attraction thing... Kinda like the male obsession with curvy looking sports cars and motorcycles.

Yep, it's a phallic thing... the Unicorn's horn represents a penis.

I would be worried about women who didn't like Unicorns. ;)

Guys learn that stuff from their greek mythology classes. Flying horses are hardcore. Unicorns show up in the Narnia series, too, and who hasn't read that?

Not ALL unicorns are the pink sparkly kind;)

As for the OP:
For some reason lots of women really have a thing for horses/ponies, at least when they're younger. One of those quirky, general rules of humanity, sort of like how almost all kids go through a dinosaur stage.
