i dont listen to her regular music, but her songs from her Christmas cd keep popping up while im listening to accuradio holiday's music channel. i simply cannot stand her whiny voice especially the BS changes in Silent Night melody that she made. wth is wrong with this girl's voice. i mean she looks decent and all, i just cannot fathom how she got so famous as a singer with that voice of hers.

Not all of us...some of her stuff is OK, but her perspective in her music writing is way too young for me.
I'm not a fan.

Marketing, airtime, and subtle manipulation of the sheeple.
 
Her voice isn't that good. She's acceptable on a few of her songs, but she's not a talented vocalist.

Songs like "Love Story" are why she's famous. I like that song, but her album "Fearless" was terrible. I'm glad I got it off Zune and didn't pay for it.

I love Taylor Swift and I don't even like country.

She is everything that is right with being a singing star.
 
Women like her because they are more interested in the image she presents vs. the actual sounds that come out of her mouth. Plus the worse she sounds the better they sound doing karaoke of her songs.
 
I'm sure there are plenty of people who can't understand why you like the music that you do, as well.

Subjectivity... Different people like different things. This is a good thing, as life would be incredibly boring if we all liked the same stuff.
 
I just saw a rerun of her on SNL, and wow it's a good thing she makes a lot singing, because an actor she is not.

I'm not one to judge, but she seems to get around pretty well.

Given that every song she writes is about a failed relationship, and she's only ~22, and she has multiple albums of these songs... 😉
 
my daughter loves her. I don't mind her songs. they aren't bad and don't have negative message.
