First they take away the Cajun McChicken, then they introduce the parfait (which is watered down yogurt + fruit ice cubes). Today curiosity got the better of me and I tried their Dippin Dots "Ice Cream of the Future." It tasted like I was swallowing frozen BBs.

My $0.02

They have Dippin Dots at McD's? :Q

For how much? I always buy a tiny little cup for $4 when I go to amusement parks/Universal Studios... banana split flavor is the best. :D

Yecch. I can freezer burn my own ice cream for free if I wanted to. Those things are nasty IMO.

And what also sucks is now their Big Macs are Tiny Macs. They are like, 3 inches across, and barely 2 inches tall. :|

Dippin' Dots are kinda "fun", they have an interesting texture, but they don't taste nearly as good as a decent "normal" ice cream.

They are $2 for a cup -- I like icecream for the smooth texture... dippin dots are way to corse and hard....

Mmmmm Dippin Dots so goooood.... I don't know if you are trying to swallow them whole or what, but just take them into your pie-hole, let them roll around in your mouth and melt a bit, chew them a little, let them slide down in all their banana-splitty goodness....

Blasphemy is what I hear in this thread.

Mmmmmmmm... I get them at the Miami Fair every year....

dippin dots are older than that, but your overall premise is correct, the marketing of the product was a failure.

yea, personally, i think it's because of the pricing... they're way too expensive imo.
