WTH is this?

His upper body is not showing so probably something hanging up there or he could have just locked his shoes together, slipped out one foot to stand on and lift the locked shoes up with the other foot. Looks simple.

Well, in the video it looks like the guy steps out of his shoes before he 'levitates' & steps back into them when he's done. I'm thinking maybe there is some kind of velcro on the bottom of the shirt that catches onto the shoes, so he can lift up the shoes, etc.

yup that's exactly what he's doing. Watch his hands instead of his feet and you'll notice he's just swinging the jacket around.

Industrial magnets are sewn into the bottom of the jacket, and there are two more placed in the laces of the shoes.

He steps out of his right shoe and lets the bottom of the jacket catch the two magnets on each of the shoes and he stands on his right leg, lifts his left, and raises the jacket.

There was a trick that I learned in elementary school that used forced perspective and optical illusion that made it appear to people standing behind and to the side of you that you were hovering a couple inches off the ground. I could probably still do it, it's tough to pull it off without someone spotting the trick though. Or falling over.
