I find it hard to take this question seriously but I'll play along... I guess.
[braces for impact]
Dubya is just a written representation of the way he pronounces the letter W!

Thanks for asking Skoorb, I didn't dare to ;)
Thanks for the answer Chef I didn't know either. Some things are hard to understand for "non-US" members.

I think Dubya must have prefered it to "Little Georgie".

Mr Isla is still being called "Little" after all these years, and I must say I enjoy teasing him immensely for it. :D

<<It's a symbol like the swastica, to rally simple minded people to. >>

And that post was a symbol of pure stupidity, to rally the ignorant to.

Edit: Even if you think it's "OK" to associate Republicans with that, and it is SURELY not, how do you think Jewish Republicans (hell, ANYONE) would like that reference?

Try to word your bull$hit a bit more considerately in the future.

It's not Dubaya. It's DUH!! byah He's the poster child for promoting jobs for the intellectually handicapped, proving that anyone really can become President, regardless of thier lack of qualifications.

Moonbeam, that showed very little class. Besides you have no point. 19,000 people down in one county in florida might cost Gore the election because they were too stupid to vote correctly. And you're calling people who voted for Bush simple minded?

WTH is "Dubaya"?

1) Your next President.
2) An attempt to mock the way your next president talks.

<<...an MBA from HARVARD can get just about any job you want!>>

Yep! And they're on sale cheap to the sons of all former heads of the CIA and a few others with the proper clout.

Viper,

Actually, his associates refer to him as "dubaya"... aparently he doesn't mind it.

Must be a texas thing.

Oh, and as for "swastika" republicans, you really don't need to go any further than Pat Buchanan. Let's face it, he was basically the "Aryan Nation" candidate.

As far as "Dubaya" and a Harvard MBA... Come on people, it is an MBA. It is not a real degree. And with his history of using his name to get everything he wanted (and didn't deserve), don't you think that nepotist-boy might have used his name to help him get that? You dig deep on this guy and he has more skeletons in his closet than Jeffrey Dahmer.

The same can be said about Albert Jr. Both of these men are where they are simply because of who their fathers were.

Yes, and republicans are the one coming up with WILD and IRRATIONAL conspiracy theories. It's pretty sad when you can't find anything to cut a man down on so you say his dad bought his MBA. Well you know,, atleast he was smart enough to know that it would be better than FLUNKING OUT like Gore did!!

So, you're saying that you wouldn't take advantage of the opportunity if you were in the same position? You would be a fool not to. Jealousy is an ugly thing, be proud of who you are and the things that you have achieved using the resources available to you.

Why do you think Bush is dumb? Because he's not a groomed and polished lia...err, politician like Gore? Or is it because the TV told you so?

Pathetic...

George is no more a liar than the next guy, I would guess.

However, I suspect that he is only a puppet. He strikes me as a playboy/frat boy.... Probably pretty fun to hang out with over a beer or two, but certainly no leader (in the traditional sense).

Isn't 'Dubyah' Conan O'Brien's saying? He's been calling him that for a while.

"George W. Bush is in the news, or as I call him, dubyah."
