WTH is 'Active Bezel' as it pertains to Dell servers?

I'm pricing out some server components on Dell.com and they keep on mentioning 'Active Bezel' option. Well, I don't know what that it. Can someone explain it to me, so I can explain it to the people who are hounding me for an explanation?
 
the server has an active front bezel that displays its status at a glance -- a glowing blue Dell logo indicates the system is operating properly; an amber exclamation point lets you know attention is needed.


<edit> just incase you're not sure what a bezel is... it's the case 😉

Nah, I knew what the bezel was. I just didn't know how it was 'active.' I'm not THAT knoobified. Thanks for the heads up.
