WTH, Hotmail Live SUCKS. Why is MS forcing us to use it soon?

StageLeft

No Lifer
I have tried hotmail live twice and it suuuuuuuucks. How has nobody at MS realized that if you hit reply-all to an email with a bunch of people it makes the window thousands of pixels wide? I hate hotmail live. Mrsskoorb hates it. A friend of mine who's tried it says it's the antichrist and I just got an email from somebody saying "it stinks, how do I turn it off?". Microsoft is evidently set on forcing hotmail users to use the new, crappier Hotmail Live and this is not good. I've been using hotmail for 8 years. If Live sucks for more than one month I will finally use my gmail account for everything and get it over with.

My parents have hated it ever since they signed up for Qwest DSL.

I try to get them to use Gmail, but they never listen to me.

I like Yahoo's new setup personally. If I had to use webmail that would probably be my choice.

Dunno what to tell you about hotmail live. Maybe it will suck less by the time they shove it down your throat?

Gmail is my main account, I just keep ol' Hotmail cause I've had it for so long. I really could care less what they do with it.

I don't care. I only use hotmail (yahoo and google as well) to ward off potential spam when I sign up for things. For real business and personal use, I use accounts from my domains and Outlook.

Nobody is FORCING you to do anything. If you don't like the new interfaces for Hotmail or Yahoo Mail, get a GMail account instead.

OK, for the pedants, MS FORCING me [if I want to continue to use hotmail]. God, get the stick out, it's been in there long enough!

People still use Hotmail? Gmail is the only free email service I know of that doesn't put an advertisement in your signature. However, I use neither service for my primary address. My primary email uses IMAP with my webhost.
