WTH brought Mr. T out of hibernation?????

I mean, I love the guy and all, and he is funny as heck when he is on Conan...but what rock did he crawl from under? I mean, he was tucked away since the fall of The A-Team in the 80's, then all of a sudden last year he just bounced back into the spotlight. He started showing up on Conan, and now he's doing AT&T commercials.

What happened?? Did he recharge his batteries or something??

Ummm, who doesn't watch TV??:Q The only channel I watch is NBC. I don't watch cable, I don't watch anything else but NBC.

He has actually been around the whole time just at a much lower profile. I heard him numerous times on various radio shows throughout the 90's. I have always liked this guy since I first saw him on one of those Wide World of Sports things before the A Team when he was in a toughest bouncer contest. I think his higher visibility has come after surviving cancer and is helped by the fact that there seems to be an 80's fad starting now.

Mr T (49 now -- born Laurence Turead)was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma of the skin in 1995. He went broke fighting it.

He's in remission now, BTW.

Mr. T is awesome, don't knock him down! By the way, I still think the A-Team and their opponents need to wear eyeglasses, they couldn't shoot straight for crying out loud! I wanted to see blood and guts!
