Lame. People who tweet wouldn't go to a Spiderman movie anyway. They're bringing race into something that has nothing to do with race. Wtf does it always have to be about color?

Stupid, I won't be watching it. You can change some of the villains or supporting cast to be black but not Peter Parker. I love how bastardized the actual comics have gotten.

I can't help but LOL at all the outrage about this.

I think Troy could play the part. I can see him both being the nerdy Parker and the superhero Parker. And none of the whiny emo Parker from the last 3 that made them so awful.

TBH, skin color is a physical characteristic that is incredibly noticible. If you want to be faithful to the comics, this should be taken into consideration as well. Thats why stocky guys playing slim guys won't work either.
