Yes, pretty silly name as you can have a commander/leader of a team but never a team consisting of commanders.

And when the WFT disappoints their fans, they will be called the "commode-rs". You heard it here first. 😁

Given the sex scandal, exactly what they want. Football Team was a great way to call off the media dogs. Outsiders just end their attention at that former name and don't really go much further into the scum, and the media didn't blast the stories ad nasueum like with Harvey Weinstein.

Not really taboo these days amongst the populace with a hair trigger desire for activism. While Stalin himself may be condemned, communism remains alive by the excusing numerous dictators as one bad apple who didn't implement it right.

Now personally, I can relate with minorities who got out of Commie nations and have heard inside information on how at least one of the common folk had to live under such rule. No real courts, no public humiliation of the state(detention or execution if you dare), nosy and threatening even in the days of analogue. Li Yundi, a pianist who wasn't even really against the regime and likely for it, even got arrested under the charges of soliciting a prostitute. Whatever the reality is, the official one cannot be taken at face value.

Dudes got the Super Bowl years wrong and Jason Wright doubled down on local radio station today saying they got it right and basically got a history lesson about the NFL from the radio host lol.

At this point I think it's intentional that they want to be ridiculous and laughable as possible so no one pays attention to or covers the real scandalous news.
