I found out from a mutual friend today, who found out from the fiancee.

I guess it didn't occur to my roommate that any of his friends might be interested in the fact that he's getting married :laugh:

but now I'm not sure if I should have spent the past 2 months looking for a new place or looking for a new roommate.

in fairness to me, this is the fourth time he's been engaged (third girl), and thus far, none of the engagements have resulted in a trip down the aisle.

One of our roommates found out a week or two ago that my bf and I are engaged. It's a long term thing, though, and we just kind of assumed that he knew because everybody else seems to know.
