my celeron was at 36 degress before with my arctic cooler. i tried connecting the pins on the celeron to get more voltage out of it. i accidentally touched the chip with my sweaty hands. i feared that is i used cloth to clean it, i might make static electricity and ruin the chip. now its at 40 degrees cel. wtf! what kind of material should I use to clean it?:D:|

4 more degrees won't hurt your cpu noticably at all, just look at how hot T-birds are running.

There are clean room rags out there that do not conduct at all. I don't know of a link but someone should be able to provide it.

use rubbing alcohol to clean the pins - if that's where you got your hands on
on the other side, also use rubbing alcohol to clean the heat surface
Just one thing -
DON'T DRINK IT!
;)
