Remember, "fetish" just means a sexual attraction that differs from the "norm"...most people have at least one, it's only when you average everyone together that you get "normal", fetish-free sexual tastes. Everyone's a little weird, is what I'm getting at😛

there is no such thing as a fetish. a fetish implies something deviating from the "norm." since there is no objective "norm" as which to deviate from, one only doesn't conform to someone conceptualization of what the "norm" is. you're a normal human being who has desires that doesn't match up with your "friend" ... it doesn't make you perverse or different in any way.

au contraire, my friend...as I explained above, the "norm" is just that..the normal, or average, tastes of the entire human race (or whatever subgroup you are comparing..."Americans", or "White middle-class Americans" or "residents of Boston"). It's not one actual person, it's just a concept.

Obviously everyone deviates from the norm. A fetish is a sexual preference or taste that deviates from the norm...having one doesn't necessarily make you perverse (depends on how far from the norm you are, see Michael Jackson), but it does make you different, just like everyone else.
