WTF?

Djordjevic said the remote starter previously caused her car to jump over a curb at a store while she was outside the car and her 11-year-old son was inside yelling, "Mom, where are we going?"

Remote start with a gear engaged? It shouldn't start at all. That's exactly why you have to press clutch pedal when you turn on iginition - to prevent sh!t like that.

clutch bypasses are pretty easy. Any good shop would not install a starter on a stick. I can't say that enough.

The real question is what stupid shop installed a starter that ignores the clutch switch and doesn't sense if the car's in neutral. I could see a remote starter on a stick working IF you left it in neutral, and it wouldn't crank otherwise...
