I just installed Windows 2K and the 6.31 version of the nvidia 2K drivers for my Geforce DDR and now my opengl applications Q2/Q3 have gotten real dark and I can't seem to get them to brighten up. Will someone with 2K and nvidia video clue me in on whats going on.

Hrmm.. I dunno. I had the same problem with Ref. 5.32 and Quake3 in Win2K, the gamma slider wouldn't work, though I reinstalled it under 98SE and it worked fine.. seems like it's something to do with the fact you're running on 2K, never found a solution, I just use 98 for gaming.

i work around it by using powerstrip. even the free eval version has a default hotkey bind of alt, ctrl,+ and - to bump gamma by .2 on the fly...so when i start a game i just hit it a couple times to brighten things up, then alt,ctrl,F1 to go back to default when im back on my desktop. you can find it on download.com
