Not a good approach to find a home
Maybe that cat could work security at a junkyard. I just wonder how they got it in there in the first place. Animal tranquilizers perhaps?
Of course, we didn't see the camera operator. Maybe she was wearing some really bizarre mask that freaked out the cat.
When I was in elementary school, I went Trick-Or-Treat-ing as a cat once, and I had this cat sort of mask, and wore a set of big ears. Then I came home. My cat took one look, his pupils dialated huge, he arched his back, tail puffed, and he just ran and hid. He didn't want to come out for quite awhile. Biggest damn bipedal cat he'd ever seen, right there in the livingroom.
So masks can be enough to disturb cats. When they might be feral, and locked in a cage, don't expect them to behave in a manner that anywhere near rational.
