My thoughts? You are one paranoid character. Help a brotha out, man.

yeah but he smelled like alcohol, he didn't try to call a taxi, and my dad doesn't wave to him or anything, plus there are like 10 houses closer to him, and about 100 houses in the neighborhood, all without brand new cars. I'm not being paranoid.

Did your Dad offer to call a taxi, maybe give him a few dollars to pay for the ride?

the opening post sums up or contains many of the reasons why the rest of the world thinks the USA and it's inhabitants are UTTERLY CRAZY

So just a few minutes ago, our dorbell rang. My dad went through the garage and opened the garage to talk to him, and he said he lives across the street. Then he says he locked himself out of his car and he needed a ride to the police station (it's getting weirder). Then my dad says why did you come to our house? there are about ten other houses closer to you so why ours? and the guy says because I see you in winter blowing the snow and you always wave to me and I know your a nice guy blah blah blah, and my dad doesn't wave to people when he is blowing the snow because if he takes his hand off the handle/throttle, the snowblower will stop automatically (super weird now). The guy was smiling through the whole thing and smelled like alcohol. My dad said if I give you a ride, you might cut my throat, and I might cut yours, so why do you expect me to give you a ride? They talked for about five more minutes, and eventually he left, but here is the weirdest thing, my dad is the ONLY one in the neighborhood with a brand new car, a $30,000 pontiac bonniville with all the options. Sounds to me like he wanted my dad to give him a ride, so he could get the car. My dad is parking the car in our fenced in backyard tonight (as our garage is full). If anything else happens I will be sure to update you. All I can say is WTF. Your thoughts?

UPDATE: I got some more info from my dad from when I wasn't around, he says he asked the guy if he could get a taxi, but the guy said he couldn't get one because they "were all busy"?

🙂
