WTF was I thinking with my old "viewing experience"

So until about 3 months ago I used a VCR to record stuff. Then I got a DVR...best thing ever! So until 2 weeks ago I had a 8 year old 30" Tube TV. Then I got a 47" LCD HDTV....2nd best thing ever. WTF was I thinking before!!! I mean I'm glad I waited until prices came down, but my viewing experience is now....well, just that, a veiwing experience. Instead of squinting to see some grainy show, I see HD goodness! Instead of wondering, "did Favre just throw the ball, or was a 1980s replay of Warren Moon?", I can ask myself "wow, did you see the dirt fly in that guy's mouth? I bet it tasted horrible" My life has been changed and I suggest you do the same.

With the amount of TV I watch, it's not worth it. But enjoy!

It's funny how ALL HD shows are entertaining. I watched a documentary on geese with my roommate the other day, we were both enthralled. Normally, I'd just say fuck geese, but the picture really did make it entertaining.

www.directv.com is taking subscriptions. Its what I did rather than waiting for my cable co to wake up.

i dont watch enough TV to change providers just for HDTV, and i have no issues with Time Warners normal cable service and their internet if Fine, my area just has piss poor HDTV selection

i still might get one if i can make my self stand in the cold and dark on black friday
