well it is a state of emergency in the vicinity of Blacksburg I guess.
a state of emergency does not mean the entire physical state is under some Martial Law, it just means extra state troopers or national guard help may be necessary for the emergency.

in other words, the area is in under an emergency "status".

I don't mean to go off topic on this delicate issue, but I must comment on what an inhospitable day it was, nearly mirroring the chaos of todays events.

We had what felt like 40-40mph gusts all day, some sort of snow crap falling in our faces, cold, etc.

Also, if that wasn't off enough, when I got to the gym and pulled my gym shorts out of the bag and noticed that I had packed my orange Nike pair that day instead of my black Champion ones since they were dirty. I never take anything but my Champions but this day I had forgotten to wash them.

The Nike's are orange because they are VT branded........how could I have known. I just put cap in my bag when I was half-asleep this morning....

It freaked me out to say the least.

It's all crap. They are making a mockery of what is truly a tragedy that requires solemness and solidarity.

I was watching it at the gym since I had recently found out about it like 2hrs earlier and had to switch when Wolfblitzer started doing the "shot" count with the numbers overlayed over a bloody wall.

I was on a machine and nearly fell off due to the shock.

It was inhuman.

I would pay money to smack him right now.
