Watching ABC News listening to one student describe jumping out of a window with fellow classmates and how he saw his classmates getting shot and how his prof was shot in the face...

They are definitely playing up this why weren't classes canceled after the first shooting...
 
so the guy commited suicide? why go through all that and commit suicide? why not just go out in a blaze of gunfire? i'm sure theres enough cops out there to riddle you with 50 or so bullets.

Ya, it doesnt make any sense. People like this disgust me. To take 32 people lives, then in the end take your own, its disgusting.

Regardless of the situation, instead of just reporting the facts every media organization is looking for the hook, the angle, the spin, the scoop they can get on the situation.

And why try to get into this guys head and change the scenario- this isn't some movie ending or video game.
Why should this guy have any glory?? Born a loser, dies a loser/coward seems fitting.

Too bad there weren't any reports of licensed students packing to take out this shitbag.

no, i'm wondering if their point was to go out in a rampage, why shoot themselves at the end? just doesn't make sense to me. if you're trying to take as many people with you when you die, why shoot yourself? with so many police surrounding you, i'm pretty sure they'll be able to pump you full of lead, so i wouldn't worry about surviving.

I think a crowd of people facing a lone gunman would stand a very good chance of neutralizing the attacker.

On the other hand, hiding under a desk is going to get you killed.

It?s time for students to be taught to defend themselves when faced with a situation like this.
