So, I had a linux box running here with a Radeon 9000 in it. I installed the UT 2004 Demo. UT Demo crashed on me. I rebooted and eveything was REALLY light colored. Like someone turned the gamma WAY up. I thought that UT changed some setting in X or something. I tried to fix it, nothing worked. I reinstalled. Everything was still light. I swapped video cards with a Radeon 9100 I have. Everything looked normal. Swapped back to the 9000. Everything is light colored.

I've had this problem too recently with my radeon 9000 mobile, I've found that suspending it and then turning it back on has cured it. It still pisses me off that it is happening.

Oh, you'll have to rebuild the kernel and install the devlibs for the latest R9K update. Don't forget the --rpc flag.

A buddy of mine actually got it to play (although at 640x480) on a All-In-Wonder card, 32MB, Rage Pro I believe. Now that's old skool!

It completely destroyed my Ti 4600 last week.

Mine just turned off my monitors and hosed the drivers, it never fully recovered and eventually wouldn't boot at all with it.

Wonder if it's related?
